There's an ulterior motive because he's a guy. If you get up to get the drink you'll gather up the pots from last night, empty the dishwasher, put a load of washing on and reload the dishwasher before getting yourself that drink. It means that if you actually make it back to bed, and don't stop to do some loud and passive aggressive tidying up, he has to wait so much longer for bouncy bouncy time so it's more efficient to go himself. 😂
