In many countries, it’s actually even illegal.

@TheEmperor It's still illegal to be LGBTQ in 64 UN member States. In Brunei, Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, the death penalty is imposed across the county.


It's only possible for same sex couples to get married in 33 UN member States.


Fear, I guess. Most bigotry is fueled by fear.

@DarkHeaven Israel is the only country in the Middle East where same-sex marriage is at least partially recognized. But never mind, Israel is a white colonialist occupying power...
