I Need Emotional Intimacy

Why are so many guys just into looks? I mean I know it's been talked about ad nauseum but I just don't get it. When I was still married I went out with my girlfriends and guys used to pay more attention to me. It was nice, but I felt really bad for the other girls, and besides I was married. Any sincere comments would be appreciated.

For me, emotional intimacy is essential. I can admire a pretty face, but I can fall in love with a beautiful, connected mind. Emotional intimacy can be silence, a look, a touch, an all-night conversation, an absence, a sigh. For me, these are all earned. But that's just me! :)
