Do you often think about your "EX" even though you are in another relationship or married?

It's odd how my mind works. This question alone sets of a series of memories, going all the way back to kindergarten. People I never think about will suddenly be there at the forefront of my mind. And not just ex partners, but crushes, childhood friends, teachers, family I haven't seen in many years. It's like the domino effect. One thought leads to another and then another and so on.

I have the same problem when someone asks about a favourite song or book or movie. An avalanche of memories happens.

@Serenitree: never thought about it that way but it does make sense. You think about one thing and all your other memories pour into your head like a waterfall.

@anotherclone: Yes! I have always had some issues with trust, but it's a little worse now... But it's good to learn how not to be, you're right.

I like to think with the right person, and the right character traits, it's a little easier to trust. I know I did have one boyfriend like that. He was so easy to trust, because of the accumulation of his personality traits.
