Should I get her a gift?

I have an upcoming first date, and she's excited as much as I am. I'd like to get her small gift to make her feel like she's special to me. She's 47. Serious answers please.

Yes you should. But not something childish or trite. Rather some thing sweet and genuine. Candles are nice.

@SimpleMinded: Get a big coffee mug- Buy two Yankee Candle minis($2.00 each) and place in with a Victoria's Secret lip gloss. Add 4-5 Hershey Kisses and tie with a bow.
