I would be curious to get to know my partner. The arrangers don't pick someone that you're going to hate being with. When you fall in love, your hormones can blind you to your partner's faults, so arguably you're not a good person to choose whom your marriage partner should be. Somebody with a cool head that knows you and can analyze potential partners for you would be a better person to choose whom you're going to marry. That said, I'm pretty sure I'm going to choose for myself whom I will marry if I get married.
