Has this happened to anyone else?

My parents and the rest of my family think that my boyfriend isn't attractive and that he's way out of his league dating me. I feel embarrassed and awkward now even bringing him over to my house, knowing that they don't like him...I fell in love with his presonality before anything else.

@KatieB: well, as long as your Mom and Dad don't treat him badly when he's there it's all good. If you did tell him he probably wouldn't go there anymore...shame on them anyways.

I've been there . My ex wife's family hated me and thought that I wasn't good enough for their daughter . That is yill about 5 years after the divorce . Her dad told me that I was good for their daughter .
