My friend has described to me she enjoys it because she is a bit of a control freak on other areas of her life so for to not be calling the shots and having to worry about what she needs to do instead just listen and submit is releasing for her. Personally I am not into it but to each their own

@Celine: Like I said it seems to be a stress release of some sort to just not be the boss of something etc
