why am I attracted to the wrong people?

So, I always find myself falling madley in love with people, who I find out have a deep dark secret. Like, they have a past of doing super evil stuff, or I find out they are skitzo, (like seriously not joking) or some other. I am not attracted to normal, and sane people at all. Why not???
