What about someone who is in their early 60s dating someone in their late 40s?
Well, in my opinion, there are many people who would say that isn't right or gross, because of one being a younger age. But if you would take the same age gap with different ages, like I did, it wouldn't be a problem because they are both adults. So I think its the young age of a person that scares them away from the idea of being with someone that old.

It isn't wrong and it could be great but if things get serious they really need to think whether a longterm relationship could work. A 20year-plus age gap is much bigger when one is turning 80 and the other still in their fifties!

There's a guideline. Half your age plus seven.

So a 54 year old. 54/2 = 27. 27+7 = 34.

It works for any age.

No not wrong both adults and if there happy that is all that counts nobody else's business
I'm 38 and wouldn't date someone in their 50s. But hey if that's what they like, they can have at it!

I say whatever makes you happy, they are both of legal ages so no problems!

Both are adults, if they find common ground... Be happy for them.
