Should you change who you are, just to impress someone you like?

Madelenie · 26-30, F
I only would like someone who likes me for who I am

Bugger that. If they don't like me how they met me. I'm me take it or leave it. My life purpose is not to change who I am for anyone. I accept you flaws and all and it's a two way all or nothing street.
SW-User
Hell no, the truth of who you are will come out eventually so just be you and they can piss off if they don't like the real you.

She can change my attitude om life but never change who I am.she should love me and I love her flaws and all.

Nope ... It leads to unrealistic expectations!

Well you can do that but in long term those lies that you said to impress someone will create misunderstandings between both of you !!! ( by you i don't mean literally you , just an example ?

@CinnamonBunny, well everybody changes a bit, often for the good. However, I meant, a total fake act just for someone you like just to impress them, based on what you think they will like
NO, never. If you aren't enough just the way you are, then they don't deserve to be the one for you. There are plenty of other fish in the sea.

Not really. The person(s) I like(d) the best are because we already liked what was there to begin with.

Who you are constantly changes. But don't be something you aren't happy with just to impress someone else.
shanester22 · 41-45, M
@Carissimi Yet so many do
NeonCandy · 26-30, F
No, I think that's ridiculous to do.
