After your first major heartbreak, how long did it take you to find love again?

They have. My boyfriend is a man I've had a crush on for over two decades, and he's had a crush on me for almost two decades. I finally got brave and asked him out. He said yes. I know his family very well, and I'm very happy!!

@shaelan: you know what's funny? I had just decided that I was ready for a serious relationship, and then this just fell in my lap! Talk about cool!!

@PeanutsauntieP1982: It's so hard to see this way in traumatic conditions or in a state of depravity but love is the natural condition of all existence, and is just as easily visible in the animal kingdom as in atomic structure and as far-reaching as planetary and greater cosmic structures. It is all pervasive. Still despite this, interestingly one's personal constitution affects their receptivity.

I agree. Plus, I think of these lyrics "Mama said you can't hurry love, no you'll just have to wait. She said love don't come easy, it's a game of give and take..m"
