Or is it a sign you are reaching the end of the line? 🤔

It helps but , only if both are commited to making the relationship work . Otherwise it's a waste of time and money .

It -can- help, with a good counsellor and a couple that do want to fix things. More often, though, one or both of those conditions doesn't apply.

But we got counselling 2 years into our marriage, and we've had our 25th wedding anniversary recently, so yeah it can work.

It can only help if you are both committed and willing to do what it takes to make things work. Most wait too long to go and/or one partner is unwilling to do their part .. which is usually part of the problem in the first place.

It depends, really. MOST couples keep that as a last resort--once the relationship is completely in the dumps. It's usually just a reassurance.
It's been helpful in the way that the true depth of our issues is now apparent. It didn't really help us deal with them much though.

Depends on the situation. If both are trying to save the relationship it can help. If it's just one partner trying to hang on to the other, it won't.
