@KiwiDan: I don't think you want anyone; that only occasionally it bothers you to be alone. I'd say you're not a victim of being unwanted. You're a victim of your own inability to express love; maybe because of cold parenting. How did I do? I'm guessing!

@Peekaboo: Hit and miss. I probably can't express love very well (like how I'm awful at jokes), but my childhood was fine enough. The fact that I had fewer actual friends the older I got certainly didn't help though. And honestly, I don't know what it is that I want.
