Does being single make you lonely?

Sometimes yeah. It will be nicer if you got someone to hug when you're home and watching TV, someone to talk to about your day, and knowing that someone will always be there for you when you need them.

I never feel alone. With friends around me - and all the technology to stay in touch I don't have time to feel lonely...

It all depends. I've been through stages where I was happily single and stages where I was lonely single.

Yes at times, at other times it gives me peace. In the long run it provides more minuses than pluses but not enough more to justify making a mistake so I proceed carefully.
