I'm sure I do, there is some cost but my reward is it makes me feel good. Ha! I remember telling somebody that on here and she said I should do it without feeling good! Jesus you can't have anything with some people.

@GeniUs: it is my belief that everything we do is selfish. Not in a bad way, but doing something for someone, even if we get no payback, gives us some reward. Either it makes us feel good about ourselves, or if it doesn't, maybe we just get bitching rights, but we all get something. Even Ghandi and Mother Theresa must have derived some kind of gratification from their deeds, if only peace of mind.

Good point, I'm trying to think of something I've done for no reward at all.
About 15 years ago I met somebody who had spent a while thinking about it and he'd actually broken it right down to if his wife no longer pleased him or vice versa they'd get divorced, or the jobs we were in we'd just leave, he was probably right.

I think you are probably right about the reward, you always think you're going to get something even if it ends up just being a burden.
