Why do (some) people who have affairs with someone who's married seem to wear it like a badge of honor?

Am I the only one who finds that rather twisted?

No... I don't like it either, but that is me not being in their place... I can't judge what they do, but as you mentioned, I don't like to know about it or be informed about it either.
