Why do some women keep going back/can't break up with an emotionally abusive bf?

Sometimes people don't have the strength to do what's best for themselves. They give up and think it's better than nothing. Maybe the guy is very manipulative and tricks her into it. She thinks he will change. Every situation is different

Yeah, me too. Emotionally abusive men are no fun unfortunately I have first hand experience! He broke me down. I couldn't get away when I tried. I'm not being over dramatic either. Lol in fact that relationship is the reason I found ep in the first place and here I still am 😂 Happy to say that was years ago and I'm SO MUCH stronger for what I went through with that bastard.
