So my best friend's hubby has an affair behind her back...

He then comes clean about it telling her all the details but adds "It didn't mean anything"..."It's over, I love you and only want to be with you...will you please forgive me?"...She is considering forgiving him - I told her to kick his cheating ass out the door...She asked me why I would say that?

My question to him would be..."WTF do you or you men mean when you say "It didn't mean anything?"...Please explain?

First, there's a big difference between forgiving him and trusting him or taking him back. She SHOULD forgive him....for herself. Whether she should trust him or take him back is a far more difficult question to answer. However, it should be something SHE decides, not others for her.
