Heard on the news today that two mormons are going on trial for polygamy and it got me thinking,

what actually is the problem with polygamy? Why should it be illegal?

@Celine: I don't think it always is. They have a culture where girls at young ages are committed to many-wives old dude.

But I think polygamy wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for that. People do all sorts of sexual things, including having more than one partner and cops aren't busting them.
