In all honesty, it felt a little clingy if I recall the last time correctly. It wasn't like I was going away or had been gone all that long

Clingy? you can be sitting right next to each other and yet you can be missed. It is not always about the other person's presence.

@WiseGirl: I guess what made it feel clingy was that we had had a long weekend together and I wasn't even at work for few hours when she said that. It just makes a guy feel like it's never enough sometimes. Especially with four more days of workaday life to get through.
