being single is the best way to became stable in life or is it just an escapism from real life obstacles???

Well I was married for 16 years and my life was stable for a good portion of that time, but towards the end of my marriage it was awful. Being single for a while after my divorce really helped me get back on track so yes in my situation it stabilized my life.
