Who started the relationship that you're currently in right now (for those of who you are married, how did the relationship start)

I want to say that I started the relationship, but before, my partner asked me, and then I turned him down (nicely). What I really should have done was ask if I could think about it, because I still had feelings for someone else (and I liked him). I thought about it over the weekend, and I decided that it would be better to go out with him. The next day at school after 1st period, I wrote on a piece of paper if he was still willing to go out with me, and he said yes...

This happened in November of 2015.

Oh, and how long have you been together (if you're married, how long have you gone out before getting married)?
I would have to say I met him on-line. I advertised on a site for a date to a local concert. He was one of the people who replied. We didn't meet for a bit, but we chatted on-line. And then talked on the phone. Then met in person. From the first words, I was intrigued by him. I knew he had a kind heart and he was very intelligent and funny. We have been together just a bit over 2.5 years. I left an unhappy long-term marriage and had been single a few years before meeting him. He wasn't looking for a mate. Neither at the time was I. It is incredible how it is both exciting and feels like we have been together a long time, both at the same time.

I'm sorry, I hope things work out in the end for you two. That's the beauty part of a marriage, you work things out (I mean you can in a dating relationship, too, but it's not as powerful as a marriage relationship).
