Have you had silent breakup before

My girlfriend of 10 years went silent. It reached a point i was only one making the calls, then i decided to stop (she was even making excuses to see me). We went one month without talking then she called once and asked why we never say hi. We talked like friends and ever since that call we havent talked for 5 months. My guess is we broke up without hurting (though it hurt me when i made decision to ignore her as well)
