Do opposites (still) attract?

We list our likes, interests etc on social media and dating sites to find like-minded people though, right? We would usually dismiss/ignore/swipe past people we don't have a lot in common with.

I don't know when that saying first came about but I don't think there's as much truth in it anymore 🤔

And in swiping past people you do not think you have much in common with you run the risk of being closed minded and dismissing people who could very well wind up being a good friend or even your soulmate. We cannot know people simply by what they list on social media or on dating sites.

I agree, I try and avoid doing it myself but it is very easy to fall in to doing it.
