What to do for our anniversary?

3 years, this year and it's my turn to plan it and it's next month. I have no idea what to do, we have little money to be spent and because I live in Australia, it gets cold in April. Otherwise I would take him to the beach.
What are some ideas?

Taking him to the place you met the first time. Make a reservation at a bed & breakfast and spend time together. Men like that kind of stuff
