@hugosfbay: I can't judge your situation as I don't know enough about it. My point is that nothing is that black and white. I was in an abusive relationship so it takes a lot of time for anyone to get close, I'm glad my bf didn't give up on me as he so easily could have.. Some of us need a little more patience.

@hugosfbay: best to do your best to understand the other person before deciding whether to give up or not. I hope things turn out for the best.
