How understanding would you be if someone dropped your friendship because they developed feels for you that you could not reciprocate?

Hmm I'm not sure. As a guy, I'd just suppress those feelings and not talk about it, so if a female friend did that to me, I'd be upset and angry probably.

Why do you feel the need to suppress your feelings though? Just a guy thing or more to it?

Well, if it is unreciprocated then of course I would suppress them. They go away eventually. Not sure if it is a guy thing but we tend to talk less about such things and as a good friend said to me once, "we suppress that shit and turn it into cancer." Haha
