What do you do when you think you're pregnant?

It's too early, I have to wait at least a week till I can test. This shouldn't have happened

I'm not a woman so I can't speak to the emotions. But a "death sentence"? that's a little harsh... women the world over celebrate motherhood... I'm sure you will as well.

@Djce45: not me. I'm not maternal at all. Have an overwhelming sense of dread right now. My partner already has a daughter and doesn't want any more children so this is not good at all

Well... you're 22-25? Those things happen. More kids happen. You're partner may not have planned on it... but there you are. You'll (including him) will love this child. It's not like your the first couple to ever have this happen...

@Djce45: I'm 25. Having kids has never been an objective in my life, I want to work, that's it.
I'm pretty sure if I feel like this at such an early stage then I'd have post natal depression by the time the kid gets here.
I'm not saying he won't love them but he already told me he would see them but wouldn't be a constant in their life which is also another reason why I don't want this at all

Well... maybe you're not pregnant, but again, women have made this work. My wife has a full-on career going... and we have four kids.
... I mean you are where you are. You're an adult... you can handle this. Don't let yourself be overwhelmed. Make a decision to not be overwhelmed... you'll be fine.
