How do I approach him?

I was not in a good mood and my boyfriend noted this (through text) and he asked If I even wanted to talk. I said, No. He replied "Oh ok. Well alright bye I guess" and I haven't talked to him since (6 hours ago). I'm starting to miss him but I have no idea how to approach him. Or if I even should. You know how usually when girls say they don't wanna talk, their boyfriends become persistent and will not allow their girls to ignore them? Thats what I expected. Instead I got that response that makes it seem like he didn't wanna talk either.
