When should I text?

Me and my boyfriend got into an argument at his place and he didn't wanna try to resolve the issues so he just dropped me off at home. About an hour after I texted him a simple "Hey" but he has not replied and it has been an hour. I am tired of being patient for him and contemplating if I should text him again but saying "I guess you still don't wanna talk. Don't bother trying to later. Bye." Should I do that now or wait?
