thoughts on online dating?

Had a past experience years ago. I was young (and desperate, though I didn't realise it then). Thoughts? Why do people do it? Is it a good way to find a companion? Can someone date online and build a good, long lasting relationship out of it?

If you can't meet people normally it's the only way to get a chance of having a partner. Saying that it's definitely a harder method since you don't get to experience that instant attraction you'd get upon meeting and requires a lot more patience and determination.

Definitely. In a way, I think it tests one's commitment and time management. If a person can get a partner from online dating, but at the same time, neglects other, more tangible aspects in their life (like work and family), then that person probably needs to work at getting a healthy balance.

It is a difficult task to make. But of my one online romance, there was so much Beauty. So much happy I couldn't hold it all in.
Because when you chat, before you meet, you are lighting the fire. You take the time to learn to feel to hope and most of all to DREAM.
