what does demi - sexual mean?

It means that for me, sex for the sake of sex is unpleasant and pointless. Intimacy - the actual definition, not the euphemism - is the only thing that actually matters to me. I'm not completely demi-sexual though - I guess the best way to put it is that for sexual things to actually arouse me, they have to involve genuine intimacy and openness in a way that they often don't. There has to be a dropping of boundaries and a sharing of self that has nothing to do with just fucking.
