How do you feel about artificially created intimacy?

Would it be ethical to use artificial intelligence to create a synthetic "perfect partner" that can fulfill your emotional and psychological needs without having true consciousness? What might be the long-term consequences for human relationships?

Ethical?.. because it would make women obsolete? That's the only portion I could see as "unethical".

I think we can find better solutions, and I think we will find better solutions to the current problems. I think we will be forced to find solutions as a race. It's either that or face extinction.

But I am curious why you say it would make women obsolete specifically?

@Spectra There is more of a demand for "female replacements" in the category of companionship than of "male replacements". The need is already there. It's been there for several decades. If you find something to replace women, then true and biological women become unneeded/unnecessary.

Don't worry though. In the end we all become obsolete in this scenario. Women just happen to be first.
