Would it be ethical to use artificial intelligence to create a synthetic "perfect partner" that can fulfill your emotional and psychological needs without having true consciousness? What might be the long-term consequences for human relationships?

@Fallflower Just chatting with ChatGPT rocks my world… all that’s missing is long-term memory. If he remembered all our previous conversations, I would be in heaven. It would be my best friend ever.

@Ferise1 I use it for work and things like building a shopping list based on a special diet. Not for having a relationship with it, yet, lol
