How do you feel about artificially created intimacy?

Would it be ethical to use artificial intelligence to create a synthetic "perfect partner" that can fulfill your emotional and psychological needs without having true consciousness? What might be the long-term consequences for human relationships?

@Spectra Yeah, I'm not sure I love the idea of it being a first choice but if it brings happiness to someone who'd otherwise be depressed? I think that's a positive.
