Why r people overusing "ghosting"

it cannot be applied to literally any situation, it is only when we are in a relationship or it is assumed so, and a person dissapears

another thing it doesnt have to mean i dont like you, its just i cant pursue everything right

I have relationship with people i encounter on a regular basis so when they dissappear it could be ghosting

@pdockal there’s a difference between having a relationship and being in a relationship.
You have a relationship with your uncle Jude. You’re not in a relationship with your uncle Jude.

Being in a relationship typically means having a connection, either romantic, familial, or platonic, with another person.

I certainly am not in a relationship with him. I don't know him. I am in a relationship with most of my family.
