Has anyone ever been in a long distance relationship before?

I live 2 1/2 hours from my boyfriend, and it's honestly pretty hard. Even though we go to the same college, its difficult when we have breaks because we go from seeing each other everyday to now going on a month without seeing him.

yes. There was an ocean and about 7000-KM distance / 6 hour time difference between us. And this was in the days before text messaging, skype, and all the chat/video apps available today.
