Has anyone ever been in a long distance relationship before?

I live 2 1/2 hours from my boyfriend, and it's honestly pretty hard. Even though we go to the same college, its difficult when we have breaks because we go from seeing each other everyday to now going on a month without seeing him.

I met my wife in Japan, but we were both seeing other people, she moved back to Canada and I moved to England.

When we both became single we talked on Skype a lot, and I visited her for two weeks. In nine months those two weeks were the only time I got to spend holding her, and now we've been together for five years.

Keep working at it if it's important.

Yeah Skype has been extremely helpful, we've been calling each other almost every night haha. That's an awesome story though, I wish you both the best!:)
