How do I address the issue?

Earlier I told my boyfriend that it's a bit rude of him to be using his phone(i.e checking social media) while we are on dates and he understood but what I didn't say is how it bothers me that he still has his ex on his social media. Him and his ex dated for about 10 months. She was his first love and the girl he lost his virginity to. They have been broken up almost a year now. Three months back his ex still said she still loves him so its a bit weird. He has her on Twitter but not me. Her snapchat username is 'Caterpillar'. And he tends to scroll past her instagram but never likes any pictures. I just wonder why he has kept her on social media and what does she mean to him now?
Looks like it's time you ask him what it's all about. When me and my husband started dating we removed all ex's from our lives cause well they aren't necessary
@NoOneYouKnow: Me personally I wouldn't want my husband around some chick he used to bang before me.
@DidIHurtYourFeelings: you don't trust your husband?
@NoOneYouKnow: of course I do lol I don't feel threatened by his ex's girlfriends not one of them has anything on me. I just don't want my husband speaking to people he slept with in the past as he feels the same about me. It's just how our marriage is.

Ordinarily I'd say don't worry about it, but the fact that he has HER on his Twitter feed--and not you--is telling.

Anyway, for a guy, it's all about keeping his options open...which is prolly why women do the same thing on their S/M accounts. :-)

What to do? Your call.
It could be that deleting her could cause some huge conflict. Sometimes it's better to just leave some thugs as is rather than risk causing unnecessary problems.
What conflict can be caused?
@Lupepnte: right now it would appear that everyone is happy. I have a feeling she won't be so happy if she gets deleted. What kinds of trouble she could end up causing depends on the type of person she is.

Her on Twitter but not you = bad sign. Talk to him about your concerns
