@Kawaii: Part of the problem, I think, is that everyone looks for "the one" and not "a one." We want someone who is perfect and who we immediately love. But that person typically doesn't exist. However, there are a lot of people who may not be perfect, but they are pretty great and we can learn to love them. It takes a little time, commitment, and truth be told, work, to make that happen, but we'd be happy all the same. People just don't want to do that anymore. (I'm guilty of being too picky, myself. Probably why I'm single. :p)
