A year of singledom...

Am I happier... yes.
Do I feel guilty... yes.
Was separating best all round...yes.
Am I ready to start dating again...no.
Do I long for someone to connect with, chat to, understand me...yes kind of.
It's complicated.

Having friends and connections was what I lost and missed most in my marriage and subsequent divorce. Nothing wrong with finding others to connect with, part of being human.
