How should I feel if the man I plan to spend the rest of my life with values his career over our relationship?

He would go on to pursue his dream career even if it meant leaving me in the process. Is this something that I should be concerned about?

Duh!
No! Of course not!

He will be lovingly pursuing a lucrative career with many rewards while you reap the benefits of a nice empty home as you await the end of his 12 hour day and his stop off for "just a drink" or two with Bob! You'll get 90 minutes of fulfilling relationship time as he eats his cold dinner and watches the news!

On weekends you can wake up with him at 5:45 AM and make him coffee so he won't miss his 6:30 Tee Time with Bob and The Boss! After he leaves you can swim in the pool as the hot latino gardeners manicure your lawn and garden!

After a few after golf drinks with Bob and The Boss, your love will head to the office where his administrative assistant 10 years younger than you awaits him with a typed up Client Contract and no underwear under her short as hell skirt! He will thoroughly examine this for hours!

So, don't worry, it's you he really loves and you that will pick his drunk ass off the floor and you that will call EMS after each of his heart attacks and you that will benefit from the #3 Million Life Insurance policy!

You're young, and I'm assuming he is too. Everyone's on a different journey... I wouldn't imagine most men in their early 20's wanting to give up a 'successful' career for a romantic interest.
