A great visit to a former girlfriend and her husband.
Two years ago, I posted about how I received a Facebook friend request from someone I dated for a few months in High School. The friend request came 50 years after graduation. It was a complete surprise.

During the past two years, she, my wife, and I have become friends via FB chats , phone calls, and video calls. And a few weeks ago, as my wife and I were on a road trip, we visited her and her husband for a few days. (They live far away from us.) We all had a great time, with lots of laughs and hugs all around.
She and I were in a play together, "The Male Animal." There was a 1942 movie based on the play, and we all sat around and watched it online, as she and I recalled funny incidents during rehearsals or performances.
And we had great conversations about our respective recollections of high school and how our lives have played out since then.
It was a great visit.
