Well I'd like to think that most people look at a person's face when they're making some kind of contact or connection. This is after all where all the cues and expressions come from. For me personally its always the face, eyes and mouth

Face, hair, outfit and shoes.

Well if they are looking at me I just put eyes front. When they look away I try to sneak a peek. I try to time it so they catch me peeking .. no drolling but just looking. :-)
