Depends on the thing and it’s value.

Both. There are things from my past that I’ve truly moved on from, meaning they don’t bother me at all, but there are other things that I have to manage, and always will. Our experiences shape us, and some experiences stay with us to one degree or another.

Sure people move on. Distraction might help some at the beginning but others are ok with closing a door and looking towards the future. Not moving on is where the real problems lie.

If you're talking about relationships the answer is yes you can truly move on, it's always harder the first time but with experience it gets easier.

I think they do, the person just becomes hidden deep in our psyche. I see my ex every Wednesday and feel absolutely nothing for him anymore.

People do move on. One day you simply realize you just don't care or that you can laugh about something that you found unbearable at some point a long time ago.
Yeah it is possible to move one. You might not forget though. But other people may just distract themselves. But it all takes time.

Dont ever be somebody's "sometime". Let them find a new option. If you walk away and he doesnt stop you he just does not care. Keep walking and dont ever look back.
