But the person can always ask instead of thinking/making assumptions as than the other person could say at that time if she or he likes that person. It is difficult to ask such things though..
And maybe some people are not truly honest in how they feel..maybe some want something so lie and make someone believe/think that he or she is liking someone but instead just wanting sex or something..

@CestManan I agree completely!! I do not engage in such posts but have thought the exact same thing when reading. Some seem to want their cake and eat it too. There is no such thing as perfection but some create a grocery list of qualities they are shopping for and cry when they cannot find them with ease.

Maybe 80% of the process is work and dealing with BS and only 20% is actually getting to enjoy whatever one was wanting.
But with dating specifically - most of the ones who want a perfect partner handed to them on a silver platter, yet they do not have much to offer themselves. It is tempting to say, "Okay so you keep turning down opportunities but what are you bringing to the table?"
