What's wrong with polygamy?

People can get really bent out of shape about polygamy. As if it's some kind of moral crime. It's even illegal in developed countries.
But what is actually wrong with it between consenting adults?

@UnparalleledMonster: Exactly. We have been conditioned to believe it's wrong but is it really. Certainly from a religious perspective it is, and I'm not criticizing that, but not everyone is religious.

@PoetryNEmotion: I don't do jealous. Wasted emotion that never has , and never will, accomplish anything but make the jealous person miserable. But most (?) people do have jealous feelings.
