What's wrong with polygamy?

People can get really bent out of shape about polygamy. As if it's some kind of moral crime. It's even illegal in developed countries.
But what is actually wrong with it between consenting adults?

Laws change. Sodomy was illegal too. Marijuana was and still is illegal in some places.

So what's actually wrong with it?

@UnparalleledMonster: there's people in hell wanting ice water , but they aren't getting it . It would create too many single parent families ... and too much burden on the state

@UnparalleledMonster: Marijuana is technically still Illegal everywhere in the US and will be as long as federal law says so. State laws to not override federal law.

Predictions aside, are you able to articulate what's wrong with polygamy?

Like i said, i'm sure people in the past were every bit as sure that their laws would stand forever.

Nothing is wrong with monogamy. I enjoy it myself.
