How the heck do you meet someone?

I mean most cases when 2 people get together are just stupid coincidences,like highschool romance,lemme just stumble across you and knock you down then help you with your books so you can fall in love with me 😂 and another stupid stuff like that,I know there are other ways but since i'm not a kind of person that go out much and when I go I usually dont stumble across any of these kind of things so how the heck normal people find someone :/ .

You need to have more confidence with people. You might get rejected and you need to be prepared for that but if you never take the initiative you’re not going to get anywhere. One time a guy I use to work with came right into my office and told me he still had a crush on me from when we worked together and hated himself for never saying anything to me before I left. So he asked if he could treat me to lunch one day. I thought that was really cute and I couldn’t help but smile, so I said yes. He was nervous, and even if I wasn’t interested I would have let him down gently. So take chances and advantages of opportunities. Good-luck!
